The Challenge:
A leading medical equipment supplier engaged our company to implement a management operating system and daily operational activities at their distribution hub. The company had recently moved to a new facility and were facing many operational challenges leading to below industry standard fill rates and on-time shipments, resulting in lost sales.

Results:
We implemented daily operating activities such as shift startups and shift turnovers to improve preparation and hand-off. Furthermore, we built shift planning tools and visual dashboards for supervisors so they can plan and monitor their shift in order to meet operational goals. We led the Project Management Office (PMO) to manage continuous improvement projects that addressed inefficiencies and challenges in current warehouse processes.
